After 39 years dedicated to the slaughter of lamb, we have taken another step to diversify our products both in meat and seafood products. We believe that our future is in the sea, rich source of high quality food. We have invested in structure, equipment and training to develop a flexible and innovative project that mixes a traditional plant for slaughter lambs with a modern fish and seafood processing plant.

Lamb

Frigorifico Patagonia SA is the second largest lamb slaughtering plant in the country, located in a privileged area, with natural breeding of cattle in fields in Tierra del Fuego, which is a reservation of purity that leads us to establish an ongoing relationship with our clients and a commitment to sustainability of the food chain.

In the fields of our farmers, lambs are raised naturally, in the open.

Most of our suppliers meet PABCO Certification (Site Under Official Control), awarded by the Agricultural and Livestock Service SAG, which is a requirement for export to the European Union.

Patagonia has a Quality Assurance System based on the seven principles of HACCP, being watched and monitored under strict control by trained both the company as well as personnel from the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG)

Fish & Crabs

Fisheries Plant has a modern process line for fresh and frozen fish with PAC authorization granted by Sernapesca, allowing export to all markets including the European Community. In modern continuous cookers, shellfish are subjected to different heat treatments of blanching and cooking according to the need of our customers or target markets.
